Is there a kitchen at the venue you have selected?

Often in the planning process this is overlooked. The availability of on-site kitchen facilities can have a direct impact on the type of food that can be served at your event. If there’s no kitchen at your event locale – Don’t worry! We bring all necessary equipment with us that we could possibly need.

What is the service charge?

A standard practice in the catering business is to apply a service charge to the total price of all events. This traditional charge is not a gratuity that is shared amongst on-site staff. Rather, this charge pays for everything from the labor to produce the food for your event to the wear and tear on service utensils to the time we spend with you designing and revising your menu.

Once I put my deposit down, can I make any changes to my menu?

Yes, you can change your menu, event details, and guest count up to 14 days prior to your event.  Putting down a deposit simply reserves your date on our calendar for your event so that we do not give that spot to anyone else.

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

We always recommend booking as soon as possible if you know your event date. Once our kitchen is at capacity for a certain day, we “close” the day and no longer take anymore events. These days can book up a year in advance, depending on the popularity of the date.

Do you provide linen?

Standard floor length linen is always provided for any food tables set up by Divine Elegance Catering & Special Events including hors d’oeuvres, buffets, and stations. We can also provide guest table linens for an additional fee, which includes the service of delivery, set up on tables, and pick-up at the end of the evening. Linens are available in hundreds of colors and fabrics

What does your staff wear?

Our service staff wear professional attire which includes black slacks and white long-sleeve button down shirts and black vest with bow ties. Special requests such as tuxedo or costume attire can be accommodated for an additional uniform rental fee.

I have several guests with special dietary needs and allergies, can you accommodate them?

Yes, we can accommodate vegetarians, vegans, and guests with allergies including gluten, dairy, and shellfish.
